Residential design is inspired by the Japanese aesthetic and praise of shadows between objects. Deep stillness floating in the air creates a vibe to let go of the pressure and live in harmony with the contemporary space. These zen feelings came along with the wooden partitions and ceiling in the foyer and living room. The stunning view of Victoria harbour further emphasised a welcoming open space to relax and unwind. Woods and feature glass blended with its own unique ripples and subtle tones for the coherence of simplicity. The feature glass looks kind of hazy but allows light to pass through the glass into the kitchen and cloakroom where it does not have natural light sources, making the space brighter and open.
